Ordering, a simple step-by-step process!
Orders made less than 6+ weeks out are rush orders and require $30 extra charge for Express Shipping
Note to International Clients: Most of my overseas clients are from Canada, which to me is awesome to work with such a wide range of locations! I just want to
make sure you're aware that Priority Mail from the US to most Canadian locations takes about 10 days to receive. Which means during the fitting we're going to be
needing one week to, and one week from at least to make sure you have time to get your suit finished. And then another week for the shipment of the final suit!
There needs to be approx. one $35 charge for mailing the suit one way because that is the best method to use. That is Express Mail which comes with its own
insurance, tracking number, and takes about 3 to 6 business days. It's more expensive than what my US clients pay but it's only due to the fact that it is considered
international. I really wish that was not an issue but we have to play by their rules. If you're an international client I suggest that you just plan your suit order way in
advance so that we can use cheaper shipping methods such as Priority mail, but even still I would prefer us using Express Mail only because it's faster and more
secure (and trackable). If you're in a country other than Canada, please let me know because it may be more difficult to ship to you! And if that is the case, I would be
happy to search my networks and find you a local suit designer!
During your order, this is what will happen:
STEP 1: Estimate/Budget.
At first you will contact me most likely with a picture of a suit you like, the budget you're working with, or just some ideas that you have and want me to create. Any of
those options are fine with me and I love to work with you to make your suit perfect! Due to copyright laws I cannot make an "exact" copy of another designer's suit,
nor would I want to copy anyone entirely because I would want you to be unique. I can make a great design for you BASED ON another designer's work. That'll give
us an idea of what design you're looking for! We'll use other suits as inspiration!
STEP 2: Price Agreement.
Once we've established the cost of your suit and/or the budget you want to stick with, we can begin deciding what your suit will look like! Check my prices page to see
the various prices of suits that I've made in the past for other clients.
STEP 3: Submit your deposit (50% of cost).
For the order to begin, I will need you to submit via Paypal or money order, 50% of the cost of the suit. Once the payment has been received, the suit will be made!
PLEASE DO NOT SEND PERSONAL CHECKS! I only want to accept Money Orders or Paypal. If you do not have a paypal account, I can send you a money request
that'll allow you to pay with your CC without having to make a paypal account.
STEP 4: Submit measurements.
To begin making the suit, measurements will be needed to make sure it fits perfectly! Please submit these asap so we can get started! If you need instructions
don't hesitate to ask!
STEP 5: Pick your Fabric!
This starts the super-fun part! Picking your fabric! I do not charge extra for fabric choices. So, look through the fabric samples on my website for ideas (we can get
many more) and let me know what you're looking for! Send pictures of yourself for suggestions, I'm good at that! Please let me know as soon as you know what you
want in case this is not in stock.
STEP 6: Pick your Stones!
Another fun part! Picking the color of the stones you want! This also includes finalizing the idea of the design for stonework as well as the colors you're wanting that
way I can get the stones ordered specially if I do not have them in stock! I currently use both Preciosa rhinestones as well as Swarovski rhinestones. That gives us a
wider rage of sizes, shapes, and colors to work with!
STEP 7: Fitting & Blank Suit.
After the suit has been sewn, this will be mailed to you so that you can try it on. If you're unsure of how it looks please send me front, back, and side photos in the
suit. Also give me details on any concerns you have with it. Sometimes girls do not wear the suits correctly and it is just a matter of adjusting the positioning of the
suit. Other times, the suit will need actual adjustments. That is why I like for suit orders to be made at least 6+ weeks in advance. If you're happy with the suit,
please mail directly to me via priority mail or express mail (if it's a rush order) for stonework to be completed.
STEP 8: Stonework Design.
Once I receive the suit after fitting, I will complete the stonework design for you and if you'd like send you in-progress photos!
STEP 9: Suit Finished-Balance Request.
After I complete the stonework and the suit is all finished, I will contact you for the balance of your suit to be paid and then I will ship the following business day after
payment is received!
STEP 10: Email Me!
Please email me when you receive the final product and let me know what you think--I like to get feedback and so far it's all been GREAT! I hope to continue to work
